Therefore, the creative infrastructure \u00a0in the \u00a0region is the sum of a part \u00a0representing creative capital obtained through <em>education<\/em> and a second part \u00a0denoting creative capital present <em>innately<\/em> in the creative class members. A researcher wishes to estimate the true relationship between the \u00a0region\u2019s log income per creative class member \u00a0and its creative infrastructure \u00a0He has data on \u00a0but not on \u00a0We study whether an ordinary least squares (OLS) regression of \u00a0on a constant and \u00a0will produce an unbiased estimate of the impact of \u00a0on \u00a0in two cases. In the first case, \u00a0and \u00a0are uncorrelated.
