{"id":1554,"date":"2012-06-01T11:24:34","date_gmt":"2012-06-01T09:24:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rsijournal.eu\/?p=1554"},"modified":"2021-01-20T13:25:05","modified_gmt":"2021-01-20T11:25:05","slug":"the-impacts-of-new-tourist-flows-at-global-scale","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rsijournal.eu\/?p=1554","title":{"rendered":"THE IMPACTS OF NEW TOURIST FLOWS AT GLOBAL SCALE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Carmen BIZZARRI<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>European University of\u00a0 Rome \u2013 Via degli Aldobrandeschi,190 \u2013 Rome \u2013<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:carmen.bizzarri@uniroma1.it\">carmen.bizzarri@uniroma1.it<\/a><\/p>\n<p><em> <\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong><em> <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Abstract<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>The present <\/em><em>globalization<\/em><em> <\/em><em>tends<\/em><em> <\/em><em>to<\/em><em> assume in a <\/em><em>lot<\/em><em> <\/em><em>of<\/em><em> <\/em><em>areas<\/em><em> <\/em><em>of<\/em><em> our <\/em><em>world<\/em><em> \u2013 in particular in Mediterranean <\/em><em>countries <\/em><em>&#8211; som<\/em><em>e common<\/em><em> geographical, <\/em><em>social<\/em><em> and <\/em><em>cultural\u00a0 featu<\/em><em>res.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>While it<\/em><em> <\/em><em>assists<\/em><em> in <\/em><em>this<\/em><em> homologation, there is a rediscovery of the different local value through the <\/em><em>enforcement<\/em><em> <\/em><em>of<\/em><em> the \u201csubsidiarity principle\u201d for <\/em><em>determining<\/em><em> a stronger <\/em><em>cohesion<\/em><em> in the <\/em><em>local<\/em><em> <\/em><em>community.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Mass tourism, in a lot <\/em><em>of<\/em><em> traditional destinations, comes up <\/em><em>against<\/em><em> the limits that reduce the <\/em><em>wellness<\/em><em> <\/em><em>of<\/em><em> <\/em><em>costumers<\/em><em>, <\/em><em>that<\/em><em> lead to <\/em><em>require<\/em><em> new types <\/em><em>of<\/em><em> tourist services and <\/em><em>aim<\/em><em> to <\/em><em>discover<\/em><em> <\/em><em>local<\/em><em> resources <\/em><em>and<\/em><em> <\/em><em>value. <\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>In this direction, the tourists become a vehicle or tool of multicultural dialogue with residents and both communities absorb the cultural feature.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>On account of this, <\/em><em>new<\/em><em> forms of <\/em><em>personal<\/em><em> relationships <\/em><em>between<\/em><em> tourist <\/em><em>and<\/em><em> resident are being established with economic, environmental and social <\/em><em>consequences<\/em><em> <\/em><em>of<\/em><em> <\/em><em>utmost<\/em><em> importance for <\/em><em>the<\/em><em> support of <\/em><em>tourist<\/em><em> <\/em><em>development.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>This behaviour of\u00a0 tourists tends to follow the innovative structures\u00a0 \u201chorizontal networks\u201d, which, in this paper, are analyzed\u00a0 by original\u00a0 instruments\u00a0 characterized by a high level of multidisciplinary.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"..\/ARTICLES\/June_2012\/45-51.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">read more<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Carmen BIZZARRI European University of\u00a0 Rome \u2013 Via degli Aldobrandeschi,190 \u2013 Rome \u2013 carmen.bizzarri@uniroma1.it Abstract The present globalization tends to assume in a lot of areas of our world \u2013 in particular in Mediterranean countries &#8211; some common geographical, social and cultural\u00a0 features.
