{"id":2797,"date":"2016-05-07T12:30:05","date_gmt":"2016-05-07T10:30:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.rsijournal.eu\/?page_id=2797"},"modified":"2016-05-08T12:04:18","modified_gmt":"2016-05-08T10:04:18","slug":"associate-professor-nunzia-carbonara","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/rsijournal.eu\/?page_id=2797","title":{"rendered":"Associate Professor Nunzia Carbonara"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rsijournal.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/Carbonara.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[2797]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-2798\" title=\"Carbonara\" src=\"http:\/\/www.rsijournal.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/Carbonara-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nAssociate Professor  <strong>Nunzia Carbonara<\/strong>received the Laurea degree in Electronic Engineering in 1994 and the Ph.D. in Engineering of Advanced Production Systems in 2000, both from Politecnico di Bari (Italy).<br \/>\nIn 2001 she has been a visiting research fellow at the Enterprise, Research and Development Centre of the University of Central England, Business School, Birmingham.<br \/>\nShe joined the Department of Mechanical and management Engineering of Politecnico di Bari (Italy) as Assistant Professor in Management Engineering in 2002.<br \/>\nAs for the teaching activity, Nunzia Carbonara held the courses: Business Management, Organization Systems and Human Resource Management, in the Faculty of Management Engineering at the Politecnico di Bari; Business Economics and Organization in the faculty of Law at the University of Bari.<br \/>\nHer research interests include the evolution and development of geographical clusters, the competitive advantage of clusters, complexity theory and agent-based simulation, and the knowledge management processes.<br \/>\nDr. Carbonara is author of more than 80 papers, 30 of which have been published by international scientific journals or within international books. Some of these papers are: \u201cCognitive Maps To Analyze New Product Development Processes: A Case Study\u201d, \u201cInformation And Communication Technology And Geographical Clusters: Opportunities And Spread\u201d, \u201cInnovation Processes Within Geographical Clusters: A Cognitive Approach\u201d, \u201cMaking Geographical Clusters More Successful: Complexity-based Policies\u201d, \u201cThe Role Of Knowledge Heterogeneity On The Innovative Capability Of Industrial Districts\u201d, \u201cA Three-layer Analysis Framework For Public Private Partnerships At Country, Sector, And Project Levels\u201d, \u201cIndustrial District Heterogeneity And Comparative Advantage: Evidence From Italy\u201d etc.<br \/>\nNunzia Carbonara in 2007 has been chair of the track \u201cTowards a complexity science-based theory of geographical clusters\u201d, of the EURAM Conference.<br \/>\nShe is part of the Organization Committee and the Scientific Committee for the 12th Uddevalla Symposium \u201cGeography of Innovation and Entrepreneurship\u201d, Bari, June 2009, and co-chair of the upcoming International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management (Hong Kong, December 2009).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Academic profile made by:<br \/>\nDoc.
